Wow...just seriously, wow! I'm really starting to love poetic verse, it's simple, yet compellingly beautiful. And this story, this story blew me away. Poor Kate, and poor Liz. This book definitely covers a serious topic, and it makes you realize just how hard it is to know the truth in a situation...you can hear both sides of the story, but it's hard to know which one is the truth when you weren't there...it's even harder when you love and trust both people. You don't want to see either of them in a bad way. I found it incredibly moving that Kimberly Marcus chose to use photography as a main focus for Liz, the narrator, it paralleled the story in a captivating way, and I loved the imagery. This book left me feeling sad, yet hopeful. I wholeheartedly recommend it, it is a powerful story, told in a very beautiful way.
